Corvina, Cantina di Negrar 2016 (Veneto)
Cantina di Negrar is a co-op of family run farms mostly in Valpolicella all working organically. They are most famous for accidentally creating Amarone in 1936 when they let their dessert wine ferment completely dry. Corvina is the main grape that goes into Amarone and this one is made all in steel and really shows off the varietal character of this grape with dark cherries and baking spice.
