Aransat Orange, Borgo Savaian di Bastiani Stefano 2020 (Friuli, Italy)

Aransat (Friulian for orange) is a blend of de-stemmed Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc fermented on the skins and macerated for about 90 days to get a gorgeous Sherry-like orange color. Medium-bodied, dry. Citrus and apricot on the nose with more stone fruit on the palate. Finishes with orange bitters, pine, and minerals.
