Chardonnay, Domaine Huber Verdereau 2016 (Burgundy, France)

Biodynamic Chardonnay from a few de-classified plots in Mersault averaging 30 years old, fermented with native yeast in a mix of steel and old barrel, then aged in steel and barrel for 8 months before bottling lightly filtered with minimal sulfur added. Round, ripe yellow fruit and chiseled minerality. Reference point Chardonnay.
