Regnie Sans Soufre, Chateau de la Pierre 2018 (Beaujolais, France)

Gamay from an organic 60-70 year old single vineyard in Regnie planted on sandy soil laced with purple granite. The grapes are hand harvested, then fermented whole cluster, semi-carbonic, then pressed off to concrete to age on the lees, then bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added at any point. Candied dark berry fruit with crushed flowers and nice structure.
