Pinot Noir "Cuvee Gastronomie", Jean Perrier et Fils 2018 (Savoy, France)
Est 1853. Gilbert Perrier and his son are the fifth and sixth generation to make wine in this picturesque Alpine region. Grapes are hand-harvested and gently vinified in stainless steel tanks. 100% Pinot Noir from several parcels with granite and clay-limestone soil with southeast exposure. Fermented and aged in stainless steel. The wine is a lovely pale color with a bright nose, terrific fruit, smooth tannins and a clean, easy finish.
