We're just gonna say it.. Marc Olivier of Domaine de la Pepiere is the best producer in Muscadet. We don't say that lightly and we welcome any and all arguments you might want to make to the contrary.
Yesterday we talked about wines from the Gredos mountains west of Madrid and today we head south to Andalucia to the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada to explore the wild natural wines of Antonio Vilchez of Bodega Naranjuez.
We hope you all had a nice holiday weekend. To help shake off those Tuesday blues, we are drinking some perfect end of summer/early fall wines from the Gredos mountains west of Madrid.
