Arbois Chardonnay, Domaine de la Pinte 2015 (Jura, France)

Organic Chardonnay from 35+ year old organic vines planted on blue marl and limestone way up in the mountains of Jura, hand harvested and wild fermented, then aged in old barrel for 11 months before bottling unfined (vegan) and lightly filtered with minimal sulfur added. Rich and complex with savory notes of mountain herbs and dried orchard fruit.
