Beaujolais Village "P'tit Grobis", Nicolas Chemarin 2018 (Beaujolais, France)

Gamay from two 40+ year old plots planted on extremely steep slopes in Marchampt. Both plots are organic and hand harvested, then wild fermented, one of them whole cluster, the other de-stemmed, then they are blended and aged on the lees in old barrel for 6 months before getting bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Expressive and delicious with red berry fruit and crushed flowers.
