Blanc de Morgex de la Salle, Piero Brunet 2018 (Vallee d'Aoste, Italy)

Mountain Juice. This is 100% Prie Blanc from 40 year old organic vineyards at the base of Mont Blanc, high in the Italian Alps. Hand harvested and fermented with native yeast, then aged all in steel. It's lightly filtered before bottling with minimal sulfur add. Bright, crisp and pristine with crushed rocks, white flowers and citrus. Muscadet meets Chablis in the mountains of Italy. Piero, with the help of his wife and two daughters, makes only this wine and just over 300 cases a year.
