This is a rare local grape called Uva Longanesi (also known as Bursôn) from biodynamic vineyards in the hills of Ravenna, just inland from the Adriatic Sea in eastern Emilia-Romagna. This spends a year in tank, and 2 years in tonneaux. Full bodied with perfumed dark pomegranate fruit. Really unique and delicious.
