This is Bonarda from a single organic vineyard in Tupungato, Mendoza, hand harvested and fermented whole cluster carbonic, aged all in steel and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Juicy, candied dark berry fruit with savory bacon and leather notes. Matias Michelini is sourcing fruit from organic vineyards around Argentina and Chile and experimenting with non traditional techniques of vinification. These wines are fun to drink.
