Picpoul "Beeswax Vineyard" 2021 $19 This is biodynamic Picpoul from the Beeswax Vineyard in Arroyo Seco, in Monterey County just inland from Big Sur. Made all in steel with minimal sulfur added. Classic Picpoul notes of lemon zest and crushed oyster shells with nice texture and maybe a little more aromatics than her French cousins, but still spot on for the varietal. Crisp and refreshing and beautifully made.

Le Cigare Orange 2021 $19 40% Grenache Blanc, 40% Grenache Gris, 10% Grenache, 10% Orange Muscat all from biodynamic vineyards, de-stemmed and co-fermented on the skins for 10 days and bottled with minimal sulfur added. Low alcohol and light on its feet, but nicely textured with stone fruit and citrus blossom.

Vin Gris de Cigare 2021 $19 Mostly Grenache with some Cinsault, Mourvedre, Grenache Blanc, Vermentino and Clairette, direct press and made all in steel. Pitch perfect patio pounder with notes of spiced red berry and ripe melon and a fresh, lipsmacking finish.
