Chris Brockway works with organic farmers around northern California and brings the grapes home to Berkeley where he makes his wine with as little intervention as possible. Everything is expertly made in a clean, crowd friendly style. We love everything he makes. Here's what we have to offer today:

Amore Bianco 2020 $30 100% Tocai Friulano from Mendocino County, fermented on the skins in sandstone jars and aged in concrete eggs for 9 months, then bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added. A light orange with bright, ripe fruit with some tropical notes, balanced by a savory herbaceous finish and nice texture. Really delicious.

Love Red 2020 $24 52% Carignan, 42% Zinfandel, 6% Grenache Noir from old, high elevation, organic vineyards in Mendocino County. The grapes see different approaches with some carbonic, some de-stemmed, some in barrel and some in concrete aged for 9 months and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Vibrant and juicy, and great with a little chill, but not a pushover. There's a nice depth of fruit and beautiful balance. All around pretty.
