100% Sangiovese Grosso from vines planted between 1974 and 1999, hand harvested and wild fermented in steel and barrel, then aged for 42 months in large old barrel and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Beautiful, old school Brunello with classic cherry notes, wild herbs and earth and firm but approachable tannins.
