Brute de Cuve, Domaine Des Grottes 2019 (Beaujolais, France)

Romain basically makes all of his reds as primeurs or early wines, like a Beaujolais Nouveau. He ferments this whole cluster for 5 days, then it spends just a month in tank before bottling. This wine is different every year, but you should treat the 2019 like a rosé. Hazy pink with strong raspberry lemonade vibes with a clean, dry finish. There's a little VA, but really not a funky wine at all. Delicious and refreshing.
