Campi Flegrei Piedirosso, La Sibilla 2019 (Campania, Italy)

We love Piedirosso! It's a native grape to Campania that produces light to medium bodied wines with a juicy profile and smoky, spicy dark red fruit. This one comes from just north of Naples right on the coast in a tiny area called Campi Flegrei where the Sibilla family has been making wine for 5 generations. This is from 20-40 year old ungrafted vines planted in volcanic sand and they have never seen any chemicals. All hand harvested and wild fermented, then aged in steel for 8 months.
