This is 100% Muscat Blanc a Petits Grains from an uncertified organic vineyard in Douro, northern Portugal, planted on 600m up on black schist soil. The grapes are whole cluster, 50% crushed right away and the other 50% are left to macerate untouched for 3 months, then everything is combined and aged in steel before getting bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Aromatic, fresh and light on its feet for an orange wine with some tropical notes, spice and bright minerality on a lean, dry finish.
