Corpinnat Brut Nature Reserva, Castellroig 2018 (Catalonia, Spain)

Mostly Xarel-lo with Macabeo and Parellada and a little Chardonnay, all hand harvested from organic vineyards, fermented with native yeast and aged on the lees for 18 months, then disgorged with no dosage added. Serious Cava that punches way above its price point with firm bubbles, waxy yellow fruit, toasted bread and crushed rocks.
