Cotes du Marmandais "Le Vin Est Une Fete", Elian Da Ros 2017 (Southwest, France)

40% Abouriou whole cluster carbonic, 40% Cabernet Franc, 20% Merlot both destemmed, then after 20 days everything is pressed off to tank for a year, then bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Extremely low yields from tiny plots in the forest east of Bordeaux. Medium bodied, but juicy and easy with dark berry fruit, tomato leaf and baking spice.
