Fleurie "La Madone", Domaine des Fonds 2018 (Beaujolais, France)

Old vine Gamay from the La Madone Vineyard in Fleurie planted on pink granite soil, made by an under the radar father and son team working completely and bottling with no sulfur or anything else whatsoever. Unlike most other Beaujolais, this is completely destemmed which adds some structure. This is succulent with dark strawberry and crushed flowers on a medium bodied frame. Outrageous value.
