Relying almost exclusively on herbs and botanicals he either cultivates or forages by hand he has become famous for his transportive spirits that have become modern day touchstones for this ancient category. The fernet is made from 25 different natural ingredients and aged for a time in traditional chestnut barrels. A far cry from the unnecessaryly aggresive and unbalanced one note fernets from bigger producers, this is remarkably restrained, almost subtle and enlivening to all the senses.
