Uva Attack Trepat Pet Nat Rose 2020 $23 100% Trepat grown organically in the hills of Conca de Barbera in Tarragona by the Foraster family, who has been farming here for over 150 years. This is made in the ancestral method (aka pet-nat) with 24 hours on the skins in steel, then bottled before fermentation was complete. Bright crunchy red berry fruit, wild herbs and easy bubbles.
La Brisa Castes Tintas 2019 $22 This is a blend of Mencia, Garnacha Tintorera (40% each) and the remaining 20% is made of Brancellao, Sousón and Caíño from organic vineyards planted on Sabrego granite in the Ribeira Sacra hills, about an hour inland from the west coast in Galicia, grown by the team at Cume do Avia. Chillable and chuggable with tart plum and red berry fruit with smoky minerality and a lipsmacking finish. Throw this in the fridge for a bit, but don't serve too cold.
