Garnacha "Charco del Cura", Vinos Ambiz 2016 (Gredos, Spain)

Garnacha from a single organic vineyard planted in 1960 high up in the Gredos mountains (about 700m up) northwest of Madrid, fermented spontaneously in steel, then aged in small barrel for 6 months before getting bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added. Bold and full bodied with spicy dark berry fruit, leather and crushed rocks.
