Garnacha, Zestos 2019 (Madrid, Spain)

100% Garnacha from dry farmed organic vines planted between 1950 and 1970 high up in the hills just outside of Madrid. The grapes are hand harvested and fermented and aged in a combination of steel and cement tanks. On the fuller side of medium bodied with spicy dark red fruit and crushed rocks. Perfect weeknight wine that punches well above its price point.
