Ginger, Mas Theo 2019 (Rhone, France)

Equal parts Roussanne, Marsanne and Grenache Blanc from 10 to 30 year old organic vineyards on the southern border of the Rhone valley, near Provence. The grapes are co-fermented and left on the skins for 15 days, then pressed off to fiberglass vats for 6 months before getting bottled lightly filtered with minimal sulfur added. Approachable orange with exotic spice notes and plump stone fruit with an earthy cider note and nice tannins.
