This is 100% Airen from 40 year old organic, untilled bush vines at 650m in Morata de Tajuña, macerated on the skins for 4 days and aged all in steel until February when it gets bottled unflitered with no sulfur added. Soft and bright with stone fruit and citrus and some savory wild herbs in the mix.
Garnacha "Kapi" Amphora, Daniel Ramos 2018 $26 Old goblet trained Garnacha from north facing vineyards planted on black schist just outside of El Tiemblo, de-stemmed and left on the skins in amphora for 9 months, then skins get removed and it stays for another 3 months, then bottled unfiltered with just a touch of sulfur. Full bodied and powerful with roasted dark red fruit and spice, but balanced by the chiseled minerality and high altitude freshness.
