Gueule de Loup, Chateau de Roquefort 2018 (Provence, France)

80% Grenache, 10% Cinsault, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, from biodynamic vines between 25 and 55 years old in an area called Bouches du Rhone, at the mouth of the Rhone river in Provence. The grapes are hand harvested and partially destemmed, then wild fermented and aged in a mix of concrete and large old barrel for a year , then bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur. Full bodied, but not heavy with dark red and purple fruit and crushed flowers.
