80% Grenache from a single plot planted in 2007 and 20% Mourvedre from a single plot planted in 1980, both in the hills south of Nimes. Carbonic maceration in fiberglass vat for 10 days, then pressed off to old barrel for 6 months and bottled with almost no sulfur added. Lively dark red fruit on a juicy medium bodied frame. Nice with a little chill.
