Jo Jefferies is an Englishman who went to the south of France to help his dad fix up a house, but he never felt. He managed to make friends with Remi Pujol and Bernard Bellhasen, among others, and now he works about 10 acres of old vines planted on volcanic soil in Herault. This is a blend of Marsanne, Grenache Blanc and Terret Blanc and Gris, whole cluster pressed and wild fermented in resin vats and bottled unfiltered with nothing added whatsoever. Medium bodied and round with soft acidity, ripe orchard fruit and smoky wild herbs.
