40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir from Grand Cru vineyards in Verzy, Montagne de Reims. The base wine is made all in steel, then blended with 50% reserve wines from a solera started in 1982, then aged on the lees for 3 years before disgorging. The solera really adds another gear to this wine. Medium bodied with warm, brioche notes up front and a lean mouthwatering green apple finish.
