Les Gros, Agnes & Rene Mosse 2018 (Loire, France)

Le Gros is from Grolleau Noir, Grolleau Gris and Gamay grown on shist with clay and gravel, certified organic, vinified naturally, with little or no SO2 added. The 2016 Le Gros needs some aeration then shows floral, peppery raspberry aromas, quite bright and lifted by firm acidity. The palate is fresh and medium-bodied with earthy raspberry and red currant fruit that continues in a long juicy finish.
