Les Paradetes, Celler Escoda Sanahuja 2019 (Catalonia, Spain)

This is a blend of 70% Carinena (aka Carignan) and 30% Garnatxa (aka Grenache) from 20+ year old vines that have never seen chemicals in the hills of Conca de Barbera, all hand harvested and wild fermented in concrete, then aged in steel on the lees before getting bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added. Silky, spiced dark red fruit with a wild side.
