This is a mix of old Xarel-lo vines and a plot of younger Xarel-lo Vermell, a pink skinned sister of Xarel-lo, grown and produced by Ruben Parera in Alt Penedes. The grapes are destemmed and left on the skins in cement for 5 days, then pressed off and aged in the same concrete tanks for 10 months before getting bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added. Fresh and chuggable, but textured with a little cidery funk.
