Pet Sec, Les Capriades 2019 $30 This is a blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay with a splash of Menu Pineau fermented completely dry and disgorged in May. Made naturally by Pascal Potaire and Moses Gaddouche in Touraine, who only make Pet Nats (!). Crisp and bright with crushed pears and citrus, nice firm bubbles and a mouthwatering finish.
Le Jus Brifiant, Julien Prevel 2019 $25 This is a blend of Gamay and Cot from organic vineyards in Montouis-sur-Loire, grown and produced naturally by Julien Prevel, a student of Frantz Saumon and the late Stephane Cossais. Fresh and easy with notes of melted jolly ranchers and silky bubbles. Drink this by the gallon, preferably outside, in the daytime.
