Half of the chardonnay was pressed directly and fermented as a white wine in stainless tanks and the other half was destemmed and macerated on skins for 12 days and then raised in 300 gal tanks. The muscat comes from the Hartwick Vineyard in Lodi and is fermented on the skins for 7 days. The wines were blended just prior to bottling. Juicy, saline skin contact white
