A non-vintaged liter-sized bottling of Sangiovese from the mountainous Umbria region. The vineyards are on the edge of Lake Trasimeno, farmed organically and hand harvested. Wild fermented and aged 90% in steel tank and 10% in used oak. Not filtered nor fined, no additives save a touch of sulfites at bottling. A rustic red with dusty berry flavors and a distinct note of Italian spices like oregano and cilantro. This’ll make one bangin’ pizza wine.
