Millocchio Bianco, Le Ranchelle 2017 (Tuscany, Italy)

This is a blend of Procanico, Ansonica, Francesino, Trebbiano and Malvasia and he makes it exactly the same as the red- open top fermented with three weeks of skin contact and daily punchdowns with his special farmer stick, then aged for 10 months and bottled unfiltered. Orange wine with nice soft edges and not too tannic with notes of ripe citrus and roasted orchard fruit with again, that savory herbal streak that really speaks to the hills that these wines come from.
