80 year old single vineyard Monastrell from Alicante, south of Valencia, aged in old barrels and made in an oxidative style. Full bodied with smoked meat, dried olive and spiced dark plum and fig fruit. This wine tastes like nothing else and wants braised lamb with all of the spices in your cabinet.
