Monemvasia, Nevio Scala 2019 (Veneto, Italy)

Monemvasía is the name of the Greek port from which the Venetians imported the Malvasia wines. The "Malvasie" were the taverns in Venice where they used to pour imported wines.

The grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation in steel tanks on the skins without adding selected yeasts. After about 5 days of maceration, the must is separated from the skins. Aged for about 9 months in concrete tanks.

Light to medium bodied, clementine, lemon zest, fresh apricot, herbal on the nose
