Morgon "Grand Cras", Maison Perraud 2018 (Beaujolais, France)

Gamay from a single vineyard of 60 year old vines planted on decomposed blue granite and farmed without any chemicals whatsoever, hand harvested and wild fermented whole cluster, then pressed off and aged in old cask for 6 months before getting bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Dark fruited, but light on its feet with juicy wild blackberry notes and crushed rocks.
