Nebbiolo "Faren", La Cappuccina 2016 (Piedmont, Italy)

Organic Nebbiolo from the mountains in northern Piedmont. Hand harvested and wild fermented, then aged in steel for 6 months and large old barrel for 2 months. Medium bodied with aromatic red fruit and wild flowers. Mountain wine made by a really talented chef that runs a beautiful resort about an hour northwest of Milan.
