Gamay "Mon Cher" 2019 $28 Single vineyard Gamay planted in 1991, fully destemmed and wild fermented in old barrel, where it also ages for 9 months before getting bottled unfiltered with just a touch of sulfur. Fresh and fruity, but really opens up to a nice core of crunchy red fruit that really shows another gear beyond just your usual friendly patio pounder.
