Blatterle is a white variety indigenous to to the area of Bolzano which means "little leaf" in the local dialect. Almost extinct, it is still grown at this esteemed and historic estate. It is not allowed to appear on a wine label as it is not an approved variety. Medium-bodied, mineral,and fresh, pair this dry white with polenta and speck.
