Pinot Grigio Ramato "G-Ray", Andrea Marchetti 2020 (Veneto, Italy)

Pinot Grigio from a single 30+ year old vineyard near Vicenza, hand harvested and left on the skins for 30 days in concrete, then pressed off to old barrel for 6 months and bottled unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Bronze, pink in color with savory notes of tomato leaf and watermelon rind balanced by ripe red berry fruit and nice texture from the skin contact. Lots of fun with sushi and/or fish tacos.
