50% Cabernet Franc/40% Grolleau/10% Côt. The blend changes annually to some degree. From organically farmed, hand-harvested estate vines averaging 40 years old. Vins Contés reds are all made similarly: semi-carbonic maceration with whole clusters layered in closed tanks with CO2; co-fermentation with indigenous yeasts only; aging in fiberglass tanks; bottling without fining or filtration in early spring after harvest; no sulfur added at any point.
