1 Bottle of Vosgien Ratafia
2 Bottles of Moutard Diligent Blanc de Blanc
Something special and perfect for brunch and/or waiting for the grill to heat up. Ratafia Spritz! Ratafia is a magical beverage usually found in Champagne, where they make a brandy from Champagne grapes and blend it with fresh, unfermented grape juice from the current harvest. That's what this is, but it's made from naturally grown Gamay from the Vosges mountains of Lorraine (think quiche) and paired with a bright, chalky, fresh Champagne method bubbly from down the hill in Burgundy, just outside of Chablis. Combine over ice with a twist and you're in business. Oh and the Ratafia says "red wine" on the label because they needed to get around some silly importing laws, but rest assured, it is not red wine at all.
