Rubired is a hybrid grape developed in the 50s as a blending grape to add color because it is a teinturier, meaning the juice is red instead of white. This is all hand harvested and fermented whole cluster carbonic and aged in steel for 6 months before bottling unfiltered with minimal sulfur added. Inky dark, but light on it's feet with juicy dark berries and earthy savory notes.
