This is the wine that started it all for Romain, who worked with Eric Pfifferling at Domaine l'Anglore for 7 years. It's a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah from a tiny, organic single vineyard. The grapes were split into two batches, one was direct pressed to barrel and the other went through a short carbonic maceration before being pressed off to barrel where it rests through winter, then bottled unfiltered with no sulfur added. True to Tavel style, this is a darker more serious rosé with ripe, round dark red fruit and spice and a juicy finish.
