Made by Raul Perez from 40-60 year-old vines of 100% Mencia grapes grown in a single vineyard in Bierzo and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Intense ruby red color, crushed violets and lavender give way to vibrant and abundant red fruit aromas. On the palate the wine offers fine tannins and vibrant acidity with a long, lingering finish.
