95% Sangiovese with rest being Canaiolo and Colorino, all from younger vines that have never seen chemicals and made all in concrete with minimal sulfur added. This would be a Chianti Classico, but Giovanna Tiezzi and Stefano Borsa, who lovingly farm and make this wine, famously left the Chianti Classico DOCG system. This one is old school with sour cherry, cured meat and forest floor notes on a medium bodied frame with bright acidity, present tannins and a finish that won't quit.
